This remarkable Calcite specimen on custom stand comes from the famed Sweetwater Mine in Reynolds County, Missouri, known for producing some of the most distinctive calcite formations in the world. Nicknamed “Dragon Scale” Calcite for its layered, scale-like crystallization, this specimen exhibits a beautiful phantom of the Chalcopyrite hidden beneath the surface.
